Hello everyone,

I have a high-functioning autistic stepson, he is 10 years old. We have him every other weekend. My husband and I have been working with him on Independence and doing things for himself the past year. He has been doing very well. When my husband takes him home after the weekend, he lets my stepsons mother know what we are working on with him, it goes in one ear and out the other. She keeps him infantile and does everything for him (baths, getting him dressed, brushing his teeth, tying his shoes) any advice... Signed very frustrated
