What’s the last thing you say to your kids at night?

Woah! I'm really loving the template/theme of this site. It's simple, yet effective. A lot of times it's hard to get that "perfect balance" between superb usability and visual appearance. I must say you've done a amazing job with this. Also, the blog loads super fast for me on Chrome. Superb Blog!

I then go down the hall and tuck their lil sister in, crawl up on the bed with her and cuddle while she talks my ear off about whatever she's thinking about. I tickle her and get big hugs then tuck her in, crawl off the bottom of the bed, and go around to the side to get a kiss. She always hides her face or covers her mouth and giggles so I tickle her one more time then tell her I have to go to bed. She sits straight up for a kiss then snuggles under the covers with her bear. I tell her I love her three times, too, then close her door. :) Our nightly routines rarely varies or we have meltdowns or bad mornings so I keep it the same as much as possible.

I nuzzle Screech's neck which makes him giggle and tuck him in tight and tell him I love you three times, blow a raspberry on his cheek, then kiss his cheek, rub his head as I stand up and tell him I love him again. I walk over to his brother nuzzle his cheek then rub my hair on his cheek as he buries his hands in my hair. (He adores hair.) I blow raspberries on his cheek and both boys giggle, then he rubs heads with me like a mama lioness and her cub (from watching Lion King with me), I kiss his cheek and tuck him in. He says I loves your hair (which is his way of saying I love you) and I tell him I love him three times, too. I tell them to have sweet dreams then turn out the light and shut the bedroom door.

I have 6 kids and one son with autism. Every night I make the rounds and tell them goodnight, I love you, sleep well and I will see you in the morning. With my son with autism after all that is said he waits laughing anticipating a tickle, when I say, "good nite dear mike, don't let the bedbugs bite, if they do squeeze them tight, they won't be back tomorrow night!' and then a kiss and and an I love you so much up to the sky and the moon and back again. he smiles and giggles and I hug him and tell him I will always be here for him....I guess until you asked this question I didn't realize what goes on before bed everynite! :)

I always tell my kids I love them. every night I do it, even if it is way after they fell asleep. If they behaved out of the ordinarily bad (or good), I tell them how proud I am of them for either the good thing, or for overcoming whatever bad happened to them during the day. I do this every night before I go to sleep, so they are generally sound asleep by then... :)

I ask my son let me smell your breath (tooth brush thing) then I tell him something funny like "smells like a table and chair" we laugh

I say I am proud of you my "poohlove" (he calls me that meaning mommy loves pooh) Then I say I thank God for you....He finishes by saying "Everyday' Then starts flapping his hands when he is asleep and smiles

I whisper into my sons ear and tell him that we love him and that it is going to be ok because he is loved. I end it with telling him to sleep with angels.
