Remember I mentioned that I was hired as a blogger for Childsworks Blog? I now have three articles live. I would really appreciate it if you took a few minutes and checked them out, maybe leave a comment, ya know…if you really like me :-)

Seriously, I’m building a writing career so that I can better support my family and I could really use your help.

Rob, I am happy to support your efforts to raise awareness and provide insight to the good, the bad, and the ugly of raising special needs children.  There are a lot of similarities and parallels that families dealing with all kinds of special needs can find by reading your blog entries.  While I wish I could do more, maybe I can play a small part in helping.  I have posted your blog website information in the resource links section of our yahoo website for the parents in The Windy City/Chicagoland Apraxia Network to learn more.  Along with our related 501(c)3, The Apraxia Connection, our organizations serve Chicagoland, Illinois and the Midwest in connecting families, educators, therapists and professionals with community resources on apraxia and related disorders, like autism.  I'm a believer in baby steps can be big steps: especially in the world of special needs.  Continued success in all your baby steps to gain the tools and assistance for your boys, your wife, you and your entire family.  We'll all get there together and doing what we can in supporting one another.  Peace to you all!
