What are your questions about #Autism?

Today’s #Autism Discussion is going to be very simple but perhaps the most helpful yet.

I want to create an ongoing dialog, where people can ask questions about Autism and have them answered by other members of the community.

I think this is a great way to spread Autism Awareness.

So…… Do you have any questions about Autism that you would like to have answered?

Please don’t be afraid to ask anything, you will be treated with respect and we will work hard to provide you with honest answers.

My daughter was always been suspected with autism, but the official diagnosis only came when she was 9. She was also diagnosed with ADHD, which is I am not  quite familiar yet. She didn't used to have too much of going to bed on time before she started taking her medication for ADHD, which helps her dramatically and she recognizes this difference herself!

So my first question is how, what techniques might have helped you or your child? I read that white sound therapy might be helpful to isolate some noises.

My daughter reads fast and with ease, but she has high difficulty understanding what she had read. So the second question would be has anyone tried any exercises/games that have helped them to increase their reading comprehension? Or can you suggest any ways to help her to increase it?

Thanks in advance!!
