Today’s Victory: No kids

I wanted to let you all know that we actually have had a night to ourselves.  The boys are at their grandparents and Emmett is still there and we haven’t gotten a phone call that he wants to come home.

I don’t know what it is with him but sometimes he’ll stay the night and other times he won’t.

We did absolutely nothing tonight.  Lizze was working on her blog and I watched a movie. It would be nice to go out every once in awhile but we’ll humbly take what we can get….and be grateful for it.

At 10 pm, I was in bed and trying to fall asleep.

I should be able to sleep in and take everything really slow in the morning.  :-)

Lost and Tired

I'm Rob Gorski and I started this blog in January 2010 as a means of sharing my family's real life journey raising 3 boys on the #Autism Spectrum. It's important for people to understand what Autism can really be like and the impact it has on the family. We aren't a TV show and there are no actors. This is our struggle, our journey...and it's all true. I am "Lost and Tired" and this is "My Reality #Autism".

Hi Rob, I am glad to hear you and Lizze were able to get a break tonight. I am encouraged by reading your blog and have found a lot of helpful information for our 3 year old son who was just diagnosed with moderate ASD in October. Thanks again

@CherinWatanabe can I just Thank you for your thoughtful comment. It's so nice to read that I'm able to help someone. I've been reading through some really nasty comments this morning and was really feeling really bad. You helped me to feel better. Thank you very much and if there is anything that I can ever do to help, please let me know.
