Today’s Victory is brought to by Mr. Emmett John. This afternoon, Emmett and I spent some 1 on 1 time together while Gavin was at therapy and Elliott was at Grandma’s house.
Emmett and I were looking for a snack, and, of course, he found the cookie mix.
He just had to make cookies, so we worked together and baked so double chocolate cookies for after dinner.

We discovered a new problem this afternoon. Well, actually this has probably been going on a little while now and has only now come to our attention.
I was laying down in bed and little while ago and I heard a loud chewing sound, coming from the ceiling.

I spoke with the total loss department at State Farm this afternoon. The only thing we don’t know for sure at this point is whether or not they will take into account all the repairs we had done this year.
I have all the paperwork and I will send it back on Monday. They will then overnight the check.

I’ll be honest, I’m still feeling kinda crappy. That said, I’m feeling much better than I was last night or this morning.
Anyway, I was feeling well enough to snuggle with Mr. Emmett John. He can be sorta wiggly, so with something like the stomach flu, that doesn’t always work out well.

Investigating Gavin’s mysterious illness

We are at the pediatrician today to try and get a grip on what’s going on. I’ve mentioned previously that we recently found out that Gavin is getting sick every day at school and is falling asleep on a daily basis, even after he has 12+ hours of sleep the night before.

Emmett was to spend the night at Lizze’s parents tonight. He went over early this afternoon.

This afternoon, Lizze had backed some biscuits for the boys. Emmett refers to them as cinnamon rolls for some reason. Apparently at some point, Emmett and Elliott had both left their biscuits -on the a plate- on Elliott’s bedroom floor and walked away.
