Today’s Victory: 02/10/2012
0Today’s Victory is brought to you by Elliott and Emmett. While this moment was short lived, it did occur and so I wanted to share it with everyone.
There was a small break in the chaos today while Emmett and Elliott snuggled together on the couch and played there DS’s.
The peace was short lived as I said already but it was nice to see this nonetheless. I love seeing moments like this, when my kids are getting along and not screaming and fighting.
Great job boys

Today’s Victory: 02/09/2012
0Today’s Victory is brought to you by yours truly and Mr. Emmett John.
Today has been a pretty crappie day. Elliott’s had a bad reaction to his new medication and Lizze is sick in bed.
However, despite all the chaos, Emmett and I found a little time to snuggle and fall asleep on the couch. Elliott’s is passed out on the other couch.
If I had to find a sliver lining, this would be it.

Today’s Victory: 02/07/2012
0Today’s Victory is brought to you by my youngest minions, Elliott and Emmett.
While these two are typically at each other’s throats, mostly because Emmett enjoys picking on Elliott, they got along really well this morning while Mommy was at the doctor’s.
The two of them actually snuggled on the couch and watched TV.
I wish I knew how or why this happened so I could reproduce this on demand but I may never know.
Either way, I’m grateful for the time they did spend together in peace and harmony.
I’d certainly call that a victory.
Gotta love that cheesy grin

Things My Kids with #Autism say
4Today I was downstairs resting on the couch when I heard something I had to ask Lizze if I heard correctly.
Emmett was upstairs playing with his brothers. A few minutes prior he came down the steps to show me a spiderman pillowcase.
About 5 minutes later I heard what I thought I would never hear.
Emmett goes “hey Elliott, I washed my penis with your pillowcase”…..
I had to ask Lizze if I actually heard that right. It’s never a dull moment in Lost and Tired land.

Precious moments
0I’ll be honest, I’m still feeling kinda crappy. That said, I’m feeling much better than I was last night or this morning.
Anyway, I was feeling well enough to snuggle with Mr. Emmett John. He can be sorta wiggly, so with something like the stomach flu, that doesn’t always work out well.
However, this afternoon Emmett snuggled with me on the couch and feel asleep.
I totally and completely love these moments. They are so peaceful and help to make it all worth it.
