Today’s Victory is brought to you by my youngest minions, Elliott and Emmett.
While these two are typically at each other’s throats, mostly because Emmett enjoys picking on Elliott, they got along really well this morning while Mommy was at the doctor’s.
The two of them actually snuggled on the couch and watched TV.

Today I was downstairs resting on the couch when I heard something I had to ask Lizze if I heard correctly.
Emmett was upstairs playing with his brothers. A few minutes prior he came down the steps to show me a spiderman pillowcase.
About 5 minutes later I heard what I thought I would never hear.
Emmett goes “hey Elliott, I washed my penis with your pillowcase”…..

I’ll be honest, I’m still feeling kinda crappy. That said, I’m feeling much better than I was last night or this morning.
Anyway, I was feeling well enough to snuggle with Mr. Emmett John. He can be sorta wiggly, so with something like the stomach flu, that doesn’t always work out well.
However, this afternoon Emmett snuggled with me on the couch and feel asleep.

Short but sweet

Emmett was to spend the night at Lizze’s parents tonight. He went over early this afternoon.
However, we got a call around dinner time. Apparently, Emmett was asking to come home. Lizze’s and I both spoke with him and tried to reassure him that he would have fun.
Grandma and I agreed that she would call if he gets to upset.

It’s 10pm on a Friday night, the kids are in bed and sleeping. The house is actually completely quiet.
Lizze and I are actually able to chill out on the couch and just relax.
She’s working on her netbook and I writing about….well…this. King of the Hill is on Netflix and a cup of tea and a pretzel are in the near future.
I hope your night is quiet and peaceful.

Snug-a-buggin

Here is a picture of me and my littlest minion, Mr. Emmett John.
Unfortunately, Emmett is sick once again. He has hit yet another Marshall Syndrome flare up and is completely miserable.
All he wants to do is snug-a-bug.
This is just a picture if Emmett and I snug-a-buggin on the couch, while he watches Phenias and Fern.

Today’s Victory is brought to you, once again, by Mr. Emmett John. Although this time with side of Mommy and Daddy.
Emmett is going through another Marshall Syndrome flare up and is in a great deal of pain. Typically, as a result, he is very difficult to comfort.

Tonight we had another Gavin incident. He was watching TV with Elliott. They were watching a cartoon and for some reason, Gavin started chewing on his mattress.
You heard that right. Chewing on his freaking mattress. I mean really?
